My first chocolate bar made with cacao from the Brazilian Amazon. The notes of this bar are very distinct from all the cocoa that comes from Bahia, a very pleasant surprise.
Fazenda Camboa is located near Ilhéus in the state of Bahia. I use their Trinitario beans to make this 2-ingredient chocolate and also use it as a base for most of my bars. It is my most reliable bean to work with and they always deliver on quality. You can find all of the information about this cacao and my visits to the farm on my travel blog.
